The purpose of this website is to provide information to Class Members about the proposed settlement with Alltel, and to inform Class Members of their rights with respect to the terms of the proposed settlement, their right to exclude themselves from the Settlement Class, and the hearing at which time the Court will determine whether to grant final approval of the proposed settlement.
Although the information in this website is intended to assist you, it does not replace the information contained in the Legal Notice, which can be downloaded from the Documents page.
The Court has decided that everyone who fits this description is a Class Member:
All Alltel consumer customers who, between January 1, 2002 and April 30, 2005, were enrolled in Mr. Rescue at the time of activation of wireless service and who paid for the Mr. Rescue feature. The Settlement Class excludes customers with a billing address in Florida, and also excludes accounts designated government, business, or non-consumer.
